RANDOLPH LONGJAS

Randolph Longjas is one of UxS’ youngest directors. He graduated with a degree in Broadcast Communication, cum laude, from the University of the Philippines Diliman.

In 2013, his first film, “Ang Turkey Man Ay Pabo Rin”, was an official entry to the first CineFilipino Film Festival. A year later, a spin-off sitcom was made for TV5, “Kano Luvs Pinay”. He eventually directed a mainstream film, “Buy Now, Die Later,” an official entry to the Metro Manila Film festival in 2015 under Quantum Films. The movie won 2nd Best Picture and Best Production Design. In 2016, he directed “Star Na Si Van Damme Stallone,” another finalist for CineFilipino. The film won Longjas a Best Director award in the 2016 Los Angeles Philippine Independent Film Festival.

Among Longjas’ projects for UxS are a show for cable channel AXN, a series of content for the Department of Tourism (DOT), and the Batang Matibay Awards for Bear Brand for which he won a Silver Award in the 11th Araw Values Advertising Awards. He likewise creates commercials and digital content for brands, among which are Meralco advisories, webisodes for the Department of Health (DOH), Uber Stories, and an episode of Nestlé Philippines’ Kusinaserye – all these also for UxS.
