JELISE CHUNG

Having worked in different countries like the USA, Singapore, and Malaysia has influenced Jelise Chung’s artistry. Her works are largely inspired by Western and Southeast Asian sensibilities in terms of design and imagery. She graduated from the Virginia Commonwealth University with a degree in Mass Communication, cum laude.

She launched her career as an Art Director, but her fascination with the evolution of film and video saw her shifting to the production side of commercials. She has worked as an in-house director for Director’s Think Tank in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia where she has shot commercials around Asia namely Thailand, Indonesia, Singapore and Malaysia. Currently based in Manila, she is an in-house director in UxS, Inc where she continues to shoot commercials for different brands. Chung sees each project as a challenge and an opportunity for further creative growth.
